HOW OUR CENTER CAME TO BE
The Center for Environmental Justice builds on ten years of work. We were first a project (led by Timothy Ehresman, Stacy Lynn and Dimitris Stevis) supported by the Environmental Governance Working Group (2009-2012). Next, we were a Global Challenges Research Team of the School of Global Environmental Sustainability (SoGES) (2014-2017). Finally, we operated as the Environmental Justice Working Group of SoGES (2017-2019) and as of 2020 we are the university-wide Center for Environmental Justice.
