Nov. 14, 2024 (evening) at the CSU Avenir Museum of Design and Merchandising- the Public and Environmental History Center (PEHC) will bring some of the authors and editors of National Parks, Native Sovereignty: Experiments in Collaboration (University of Oklahoma Press, 2024) to CSU for an evening panel conversation about how parks and tribes can collaborate to enhance Indigenous access, co-stewardship, and interpretation in national parks. Among the authors and editors are distinguished scholars of history, anthropology, and Native American Studies, as well as NPS staff and tribal historic preservation officers.  The event is free and open to the public.
