Biography

Katrina Cloyes is a Master's student in Environmental Sociology. Prior to this position, she was a Research Assistant in the Climate Psychology and Action Lab and the Social Cognitive Development Lab at the University of California, San Diego. Her research examines youth decision-making around climate action and she is interested in studying social change, environmental justice, and pro-environmental behavior. Katrina earned a B.A. in Psychology from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2023, where she had the unique opportunity to run and rebuild the Sustainability Department. Outside of research, she is involved in community-based climate justice efforts and enjoys yoga, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
